Fieldfare was formed by husband and wife team Phil and Nadine Spencer in August 2006.

Phil has been an agronomist since 1987 initially advising farmers in agricultural production, but more recently developing a client base advising and supplying agronomy products to the amenity sector - especially golf courses.  The techniques for growing wheat and sports turf are of course not the same; but the science - the principles of biology and chemistry that underpin them are.  Phil is attempting to transplant some of the advanced scientific approaches of agricultural agronomy, such as in the areas of nutrition and fungicide stacking into the amenity sector.

Nadine has been an accountant for many years , and her skills in purchasing and controlling costs within the business are clearly evident.  This throughness in controlling costs allows us to compete effectively in a very competitive market place.
